After the Super Bowl, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy will have more to worry about than a fire alarm in his hotel.
The reason behind this is that Purdy’s roommate, Niners offensive lineman Nick Zakelj, couldn’t resist taking advantage of the fact that the famous player is getting married to his fiancé, Jenna Brandt, in March.
In a story published on Friday, Zakelj informed the New York Post that “an eviction notice is coming.”
Despite being selected as the final pick in the 2022 NFL draft and being Mr. Irrelevant, Purdy’s humble life as a rising star in the league has received a lot of attention. Purdy and Zakelj share a Toyota Sequoia, they enjoy grilling together, and Purdy drives a standard sedan. According to Zakelj, his roommate is “the best, all you can ask for,” tidy, and punctual.
“When we’re at home, we definitely talk ball sometimes,” Zakelj remarked. “It’s a great place; we come home, unwind, and escape everything.” I believe that both of us are fairly informed about the offense, so feel free to ask any questions. Probably more so than I am.

Purdy and Brandt don’t live together, but they spend a lot of time together because they are getting married soon. Purdy gives Brandt credit for taking the lead on the wedding arrangements during the season, which comes to an end on Sunday in Las Vegas with the Chiefs game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
“Jenna has done a fantastic job organizing the wedding,” Purdy said to media on Monday. “Obviously, the season started when we got engaged in the summer, so for me, it’s been football and trying to win every week. She’s performed incredibly well.
