Since Paul W. “Bear” Bryant and Gene Stallings, Alabama had not won a national championship; however, in 2009, Nick Saban demonstrated that he had put the Crimson Tide back on the winning path. It seems appropriate that the Tide reclaims its position as the hub of the sports world with Saban’s retirement.

Alabama is eager to win back the national championship after going three years without one. Fans of the Crimson Tide will be glued to spring practice to watch DeBoer’s squad in his rookie campaign.
