SANTA CLARA: Quarterback Brock Purdy made sure he understood the NFL’s playoff overtime regulations, even though many 49ers players were not aware of them.
Purdy claimed that at the conclusion of regulation, he went to quarterbacks coach Brian Griese to settle his differences.
On Tuesday, while players were cleaning out their lockers at Levi’s Stadium, Purdy said, “He explained the rules to me, so I had an understanding of it.”
