NBA’s top Boston Celtics extend their winning run to…

SAN FRANCISCO: The Boston Celtics, who lead the National Basketball Association, defeated the Brooklyn Nets 136-86 on February 14 thanks to 27 points from Derrick White and 20 from Jayson Tatum. It was the team’s fifth-largest blowout victory in club history.

After scoring 28 points off the bench, Payton Pritchard helped the Celtics win their sixth straight game.

Following Milwaukee in 1978–79 and Sacramento in 1992–93, Boston became just the third team in NBA history to win multiple games with 50 points or more in a season after defeating Indiana 155–104 in November.

With all 15 of his points coming in the first half, Kristaps Porzingis gave the Celtics a commanding 68-32 halftime lead, which increased their league-leading record to 43-12.

“Winning this big is a nice treat heading into All-Star break,” Boston forward Sam Hauser remarked.

“So far this season has been going well. Take some time to relax and rebalance our bodies and minds. There are undoubtedly still certain things to work on.
