For that reason, 49ersOnce more, the San Francisco 49ers misfired. For 49ers, of course.
Brutal, but that’s the way it is. They kept shooting themselves in the foot, which cost them the game they should have won. Kudos to Kansas City for having an outstanding quarterback who performed when it counted. They profited from the 49ers’ errors.
For 49ers, of course.
Although he has a few shortcomings, Kyle Shanahan is the best thing that has happened to this organization. The most noteworthy is that his teams tend to let opponents hang around and will eventually find a way to let you down. That is the only thing involved. Up until the last few minutes, you will be holding your breath and experiencing a sharp increase in blood pressure.
I have so much to complain and cry over in regards to the 49ers. It’s easy to overlook the offense’s productivity because it was not managed as well as it could have been later in the season due to mental errors and a flimsy offensive line. Again, the Super Bowl left many scratching their heads. Too many errors by the special teams. Too many first-down errors, too many blocked passes, and not enough penalty flags for the Chiefs to hold. It is impossible to play like the Chiefs offensive line unless you are the Chiefs. Only in the closing moments of the game is Patrick Mahomes effective, but Purdy’s performance is superior. The 49ers are positioned between the window and the hump.
