Watch: Alabama is prepared to stir things up with…
Alabama confirmed Thursday that the team’s traditional spring game will take place on April 13 at 3 p.m. CT.
Compared to prior A-Day games, which have begun in the early afternoon, that is a later kickoff time.
There is currently no broadcast information available for the A-Day game. Last year, it was exclusively available for streaming and wasn’t shown on regular television.
The last of 15 spring practices, which will start early next month, was announced by Alabama last month. This is the date of their spring game.
The game will be Kalen DeBoer’s first as coach. DeBoer stated last week on Tide 100.9 that he wanted to maintain the game’s format from Nick Saban’s time. The Alabama roster was divided between the White squad and the Crimson team.
It’s not always simple, as demonstrated by Alabama’s thrilling 98-93 overtime victory against Florida in Coleman Coliseum on Wednesday night, which maintains the Crimson Tide’s top spot in the Southeastern Conference basketball standings.
And it doesn’t figure to get any easier, beginning with a trip to Lexington on Saturday to play the Kentucky Wildcats, who are probably trying to get over their most recent 75-74 setback at LSU, which came just after the Bama victory on Wednesday night.
After five regular season games, the standings are mostly unchanged for a few weeks: a few teams are still vying for the SEC regular season title and the top seed in the SEC Tournament.
