Alonso stated that everyone on the grid knew the Red Bull team will once again be the dominant force once preseason testing concluded in Bahrain.
According to Alonso, Verstappen is vying for second place in the drivers championship with 19 other drivers in an attempt to win four titles in a succession.
Red Bull is the clear leader in the sport, and I believe Max to be the world champion. Furthermore, the idea they introduced this year is unexpected, he added.
