Denver Broncos: Former QB died after Predicting Where…

The offseason’s biggest tale is where Russell Wilson will be playing in 2024.

Wilson is no longer the chosen starting quarterback for the Denver Broncos, who are led by head coach Sean Payton. However, he has one of the wealthiest contracts in NFL history, so trading him will be impossible.

Having said that, once he is formally released from his Denver contract, a few teams in need of a quarterback will be interested in his services. No team really has a motivation to trade for him until he is released by Denver.

It all boils down to money, as is the case with nearly everything in the NFL. Well, maybe Joe Douglas of the New York Jets, but no team wants to trade for a 35-year-old quarterback who has five years left on his contract and over $170 million in debt.

And why ought they to? The Broncos will let Wilson go if they truly want to put him behind them. Although they will have a $85 million dead cap hit, they may use a post-June 1 designation to spread that out over two years.
