He got the super computer. 94.8% chance of a podium finish, 0.2% chance of fourth place and 5% chance of not finishing the race.Verstappen’s teammate Perez has been given the second best chance to win the race, but only gets a four percent chance. Action Network says its Super Computer works by taking into account historical data, road conditions, car performance and driver characteristics.
With these in mind, a team of analysts creates code that can accurately simulate races, which are then run 1,000 times to achieve the highest possible accuracy.
An Action Network spokesman said: “The worrying trend of Max Verstappen and Red Bull’s dominance looks set to continue in Bahrain and our data analysts are predicting a one-sided race.”There has been an effort by Formula 1’s governing body, the FIA and the management of the sport, to deal with these problems and make the race more competitive and more fun. Changes to technical rules, such as the introduction of hybrid powertrains, aerodynamic adaptations and changes to sporting regulations, aim to level and intensify competition..
