SANTA CLARA: The 49ers’ coach Kyle Shanahan is the best thing going, but the hot tubs and little training area at Levi’s Stadium are the worst.
According to an annual survey of players, the 49ers moved up from seventh to sixth place among the 32 teams in the NFL Players Association rankings.
Based on responses from over 1,700 players (77 percent), the NFLPA conducted its second annual survey. The 49ers placed in each of the 11 categories.

The NFLPA statement stated, “The training room is the one area that survey respondents believe needs to be prioritized going forward.” “There aren’t many therapy tables in the tiny space itself. The hot and cold tubs are alsoextremely little, making it difficult for the players to utilize them comfortably for warming up or cooling down.
