Throughout the next several days, Bama247 is going to be “building the board” of Alabama targets for the 2025 class.

The February Dead Period is set to come to a close on March 3 and visitors are scheduling visits to get back on campus to meet the new staff in Tuscaloosa. On Tuesday morning, we dove into the quarterback position and offered plenty of insight into Alabama’s pursuit of a signal caller in the 2025 class. On Tuesday afternoon, we stayed in the backfield and offered thoughts on the running back position.

On Wednesday morning, we took a look at the group that might be getting the most hype and rightfully so, the receiver and tight end positions.

Now, we’re getting into the trenches, but staying on this side of the ball with the offensive line. Alabama signed three offensive lineman in the 2024 class — Casey Poe, Joseph Ionata, William Sanders –– all of whom are interior offensive lineman.

The overall talent pool for offensive line last class was down, but there the 2025 class does not lack talent at any position along the line. As is the case for practically every other program, Alabama’s focus will likely be at the tackle position.

Kalen DeBoer and the new staff have handed out several re-offers/offers and visited many schools of Top247 offensive tackles, some of whom the staff has relationships already from the Washington days.

New offensive line coach Chris Kapilovic also has some relationships with 2025 prospects from his brief stint at Baylor in the same role. An in-state offensive tackle has confirmed visit plans for this spring and more Top247 should flood into Tuscaloosa in the next several weeks.
