The Crimson Tide wanted to get one of the hottest names on the market to replace one of the best coaches to ever do it, and it was going to take a big paycheck to make that happen. This new era of Alabama football is going to be interesting to see. It will be weird to see the Crimson Tide take the field without Nick Saban, but the program seems to be in good hands with DeBoer running the ship. We will certainly learn a lot during the 2024 season.
