Report:Tiger Woods arena rejects cri….

The Palm Beach State College Board of Trustees vehemently objected on Tuesday to a plan to replace the air-inflated dome in the Tiger Woods-led indoor golf arena with prefabricated aluminum.

The plan to replace the dome that was demolished in November by strong winds with a metal structure was not immediately approved by the trustees who are renting 10 acres off of PGA Boulevard to the celebrity-studded TMRW Golf League.
A brief history: TMRW Sports Group has promised to air its inaugural game at the unique venue on ESPN in January 2025, but time is running out.

However, after an hour-long conversation, the state institution failed to provide the promoters with the speedy approval they were hoping for from their landlord. Trustees decided to have another meeting the following month.

“I am aware that they must make this work from a business position and that they have a business perspective. From a college perspective, we have to make it work,” Link remarked. However, you also mentioned a building that will be around for 50 years when we speak about it. Thus, it cannot simply be a Costco box. That is not going to work.

Trustees who signed the November 2022 lease with TMRW’s parent company, NexGen Sports Group, inquired about a possible profit-sharing arrangement for the golf league for the first time. The college student received training opportunities, advertising, curriculum development, and shared facility use as part of the lease.
Additionally, TMRW Sports donated $1 million to the Palm Beach State College Foundation.
