Stacy Wakefield, the widow of the late great Major League Baseball star Tim Wakefield, fell tragically just five months after the pitcher for the Boston Red Sox went missing in October of 2023.

The Red Sox, on behalf of their family, released a press announcement announcing Stacy Wakefield’s passing. “We share with great sadness that our beloved mother, daughter, sister, niece, and aunt, Stacy, passed away at her home in Massachusetts today,” the statement said.
