This week marked the continuation of the 13 Tottenham players’ loan experiences throughout England and Europe, with varying results and playing time for each of them.

Many of Spurs’ players are on loan at teams in the Premier League, Football League, Turkey, Spain, the Netherlands, Germany, and Italy, in addition to other leagues. For various reasons, they saw a wide range of minutes, but one player who had been sidelined for the season made a significant comeback.

The 13 Tottenham loan players’ performance during the previous week is as follows:

Ivan Perisic agreed to a deal to play for the Croatian team the next season after joining Hajduk Split on loan until the conclusion of his Spurs contract this summer. After suffering a cruciate ligament injury, he was not anticipated to recover until April at the latest. Ange Postecoglou, the Tottenham manager, had stated prior to his departure that the seasoned winger would not be ready to play for Tottenham this season.

However, the Croatian is known as a quick healer and so it has proved after he was named on the bench, albeit as an unused substitute, for Hadjuk’s 1-0 league win against Istra at the weekend.

“He expressed his desire to be on the bench, to be with the team. That’s positive,” said his head coach Mislav Karoglan.

In another boost for the 35-year-old, Perisic has been called up for the Croatian national football team, after his international coach Zlatko Dalić announced the list of players for the international friendly tournament – the W Cup – which will be held in the United Arab Emirates from March 22 to 26.
