Red Bull has suspended Christian Horner due to a rape’ case as…

Red Bull has abruptly suspended the person who accused Christian Horner of sexting, it was revealed today, just before the Formula One boss fled to Saudi Arabia without his wife Geri Halliwell in anticipation of this weekend’s Grand Prix.

The Red Bull team principal was exonerated of any wrongdoing in an internal investigation carried out by the team’s parent company in Salzburg last Wednesday, despite the accusation made by the female staff member of “coercive behavior.”

Mail Sport is aware that the investigation’s conclusions directly led to the decision to suspend her from her work at the Milton Keynes factory. As late as this week, the unidentified worker was still at work.

“We are unable to comment on an internal employee matter,” a Red Bull spokeswoman stated.

After 60 hours of testimony, the investigation produced a 150-page report written by a London QC. The 50-year-old Horner, who is in Saudi Arabia for this weekend’s grand prix with his wife Geri Halliwell, the former Spice Girl, will speak with the media later today.

Despite the revelation of an email last week that supposedly detailed intimate conversations between him and the woman in question, he has vowed to stay in his £8 million-a-year employment.
