Retirement: Jets QB Concades he won’t…
Although Aaron Rodgers hinted throughout the season that he wanted to return in 2023, the New York Jets ultimately failed to generate any real chance of a playoff run, and the enigmatic star remained on the sidelines for the duration of the campaign.
A number of people have questioned how long Rodgers, who recently turned 40, wants to continue playing in the NFL. For his part, Rodgers doesn’t seem to be planning on hanging up the cleats anytime soon.
To be successful into their 40s as an NFL quarterback, a player must possess a unique blend of skill, luck, and physical fitness. Naturally, Tom Brady kept up his superb play well into that decade, but he is more often seen as the exception than the rule.
Whatever the situation, Jets supporters will be hoping that Aaron Rodgers takes this summer to properly heal from his injuries in order to be primed to dominate the league in 2024.
