Denver Broncos Just Signed a super players form Cleveland Browns in…

Two people familiar with the negotiations who talked to The Associated Press on Saturday said that the Denver Broncos and the Cleveland Browns have agreed to trade wide receiver Jerry Jeudy, a former first-round choice.

After the trade is consummated next week, the Broncos will receive fifth- and sixth-round picks in the upcoming 2024 NFL draft, according to sources who asked to remain anonymous since neither team has officially acknowledged the move.

Jeudy gives the Browns’ top receiver, Amari Cooper, a useful complement. It also gives quarterback Deshaun Watson another important target and deep threat.

The Broncos, who will part ways with Jeudy and save $13 million in salary cap space, will also benefit monetarily from the move. Denver will also have the first pick in the fifth round of the draft, increasing their total number of draft choices to eight in April.

The decision to release quarterback Russell Wilson and part ways with All-Pro safety Justin Simmons and wide receiver Tim Patrick are among the Broncos’ recent initiatives to free up cap money.

Due in part to quarterback uncertainty, Jeudy’s tenure with the Broncos was characterized by unfulfilled expectations despite being selected with the 15th overall pick in the 2020 draft. Even though Jeudy showed signs of promise, especially in the 2022 season, his output declined and he finished the previous season with just two touchdown receptions.

Jeudy’s departure marks the end of his time in Denver as he enters the final year of his contract after the Broncos exercised his fifth-year option.

Last year, the Browns had previously tried to sign Jeudy, but they were unable to come to an agreement. With Jeudy, they now have a proven wideout whose speed and skill set complement Watson’s love of deep throws.
