Following a knee injury suffered by Lukas Jutkiewicz in the last moments of Birmingham City’s loss to Watford, the striker is awaiting a diagnosis.
The second-half substitute, having challenged for a header inside Watford’s area, went down in a heap. Before Jutkiewicz’s left knee was the focus of medical attention, it seemed as though he had sustained a brain injury.
Jutkiewicz was able to leave the field without assistance, but a stretcher was requested. For the last few minutes of stoppage time, the 34-year-old was replaced by Scott Hogan.
