Birmingham City transfer plan ‘alrea…

Just one month after his Birmingham loan ends, Drameh’s Leeds contract expires on June 30.

The decision not to renew has already been made. He’s under 23, so although many would assume he’d be a free agent, he needs to be paid.

The amount that Blues would be required to pay the Lilywhites is unclear, but payment is required.

In all competitions, the 22-year-old has made 28 appearances for Birmingham after playing in two matches against Leeds earlier in the year.

Prior to that, Drameh had a fruitful six-month loan at Luton Town, where he assisted the Hatters in winning the Sky Bet Championship play-offs and advancing to the Premier League.

Drameh, a right-back by trade who can also play center or left, could be a valuable long-term addition for the Blues. While he hasn’t exactly made an impact, he has been a consistent starter and helpful in the event of injuries and suspensions.

In the summer, Drameh might sign a permanent contract with Blues, but Leeds would still be entitled to payment. In the summer, Drameh might sign a permanent contract with Blues, but Leeds would still be entitled to payment.

There have been sporadic inconsistencies, but that’s to be expected when working under four different managers.
