Berrettini collapses on court as Murray fights back to…

Andy Murray was rewarded for his perseverance in a grueling Miami Open first-round encounter when he overcame Matteo Berrettini 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 after behind 1-0. Murray’s fourth victory of the year sets up a rematch with Tomás Martín Etcheverry in the second round.

In the second set, Berrettini was getting ready to serve when he lost his balance, staggered to his right, almost fell, and then complained of dizziness. The physician and physiotherapist saw him right away, but even though he was cleared to play again, he was not able to reach his previous level of play.

“Life in the old dog yet”: At the Miami Open, Murray rallies to defeat Berrettini.
