Novak Djokovic subspend for spoiling ‘biggest..

Andy Roddick, a former tennis player, has blasted Novak Djokovic for trying to spoil Luca Nardi’s celebration at Indian Wells. The Serbian expressed his anger following the match after being unexpectedly defeated by his youthful opponent in the third round of the ATP Masters 1000 competition.

Nardi was clearly taken aback by his victory over his childhood hero last week, but in his post-match remarks, Djokovic maintained that he “deserved” to win. The 24-time Grand Slam champion, nevertheless, was unable to turn down the opportunity to voice his displeasure over a disruption in their fight.

Nardi seemed to be waiting for a “out” call following Djokovic’s serve during the match, but he returned the ball nevertheless and won the point. Djokovic was shocked by the ruling since he thought the point would be replayed because of obstruction, and he complained to the umpire but got no response.

Djokovic mentioned the point during his post-match press conference and also directly to Nardi as they shook hands after the game – much to the annoyance of Roddick, who felt that the seasoned champion should not have taken the gloss off of the 20-year-old’s victory.

He said as per Sportal: “It’s a desperation move, I don’t see any world where Novak should ever be desperate against someone ranked 123 in the world. One, the guy didn’t stop. Like, you watch it, he didn’t stop. Like, there have been 27 other clips of him (Djokovic) where, and I hate this, to turn back the clock 13 years and expect us to remember a certain point, but like there are all these things of Novak kind of definitely not stopping, but stopping way more than Nardi did in that point.
