Nick Kyrgios recently responded to a video that showed Rafael Nadal defeating Novak Djokovic in the Madrid Open final thirteen years ago with a scorching shot between the legs lob.Kyrgios hasn’t played since the June Stuttgart Open because of a wrist injury.
The Australian also had a knee injury at the close of 2022, which kept him out of play for the first five months of 2023 on the ATP tour.
Nick Kyrgios offered the tennis world a positive update last month when he posted on Instagram from his first practice in over a year.
The 28-year-old has also kept his followers amused on social media even though he hasn’t revealed a firm comeback date.The former World No. 13 shared a point from a highlight video posted by TennisTV, the top men’s tennis streaming service, on his Instagram stories on Friday, April 26.
In the second set, Rafael Nadal used a tweener lob to get past Novak Djokovic at the net and put himself up for a triple break.In the caption, Kyrgios complimented the 22-time Major winner’s shot selection:

Nevertheless, despite Nadal breaking in the opening game, Djokovic managed to recover and win 7-5, 6-4 to win the Madrid Open for the first time in his career.
