The Miami Dolphins intend to release seasoned pass rusher Emmanuel Ogbah in a budget-friendly film, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Since entering the league as a second-round selection in 2016, Ogbah has accumulated 42.5 sacks, and during the 2019 season, he and the Kansas City Chiefs won a Super Bowl ring.

The addition of Ogbah would certainly enhance this reputation. Dallas has intercepted a quarterback 141 times since Parsons joined the team in 2021, which is tied for the fourth-highest number in the NFL during that time.
Ogbah returned from a triceps surgery that kept him limited to nine appearances in 2022, and he assumed a deeper role on the Miami depth chart. With Ogbah’s release, Miami will save eight figures against the cap. Ogbah had signed a four-year, $65 million contract in 2020.
